Katrina and the Media
If you know me personally, I’m not a fan of the popular media. While I didn’t pay much attention to most coverage of Katrina, but I sure heard about all the horror. While I’d never belittle anything those people had to endure or the situation they’re now faced with, but it appears that some of the reports were wildly exaggerated. If fact, the media may have in fact hindered the emergency response by their false reports.
